"All three suppliers have qualified. All are in production and all are now competing to support Vera Rubin," said Nvidia co-founder and CEO Jensen Huang after landing in the South Korean capital Seoul.
The Vera Rubin platform is already in full production and is scheduled to begin shipping in the third quarter of this year, according to information presented earlier this week.
The system is based on Nvidia's Vera processors and Rubin graphics cores, but to handle the enormous amounts of data, advanced HBM4 memory chips are also required.
