A new "white list" has been developed by Nvidia, with companies that have undergone stricter scrutiny to prevent chips in violation of US restrictions from being sold to Chinese customers.
It is mainly cloud service companies based in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia and Japan that have been removed from the list. They can apply to be approved again if they take the necessary measures.
According to the newspaper's sources, Nvidia has tightened controls after pressure from the White House, and the checks have been carried out with the support of the US Department of Commerce.
