Jensen Huang's black leather jacket from Tom Ford sold for approximately SEK 9.3 million. The jacket had been valued at $60,000 before the auction, but an intense bidding war between 45 collectors pushed the price far beyond expectations to $960,000.
Just as Apple founder Steve Jobs became known for his black polo shirts and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg for his seemingly endless wardrobe of gray T-shirts, Jensen Huang has made the leather jacket part of his signature style, wearing one to almost every public appearance.
The proceeds go to a non-profit organisation that, among other things, teaches business methods.
