A nurse in Varberg is sentenced to three years in prison for an attempted rape of a demented patient at a nursing home in the city, reports SVT Halland.
The crime is said to have been committed during last autumn. The court notes that the victim has been in a special vulnerable position in their dependence on the nurse, who is a man in his 50s, and that the man has shown particular ruthlessness.
The man is also sentenced for serious sexual assault against a person who was admitted to a psychiatric ward. He denies the crimes in both cases.
