Now, lists of users' own favorite songs and artists for the year are appearing on Spotify. The release of Spotify Wrapped has become a tradition at the end of the year – and the streaming giant also presents top lists of all listening on the service during the year.
Last year, Hov1 came second on the list behind Taylor Swift, but this year the guys from Stockholm overtook them and took first place on the list of most listened to artists on Spotify in Sweden, ahead of Veronica Maggio and Yasin.
The biggest song of the year on Spotify in Sweden was "Bara bada bastu" by KAJ. Behind the Melodifestivalen winners are two songs in the top ten by female artists who had their big breakthroughs.
Third is “Tusen spänn” with Tjuvjakt and Fanny Avonne, ahead of “Svagare än jag” with Ida-Lova in fourth. Experienced Molly Sandén also had a big hit with “Lost and found” in ninth place.
Globally, Bad Bunny took first place ahead of Taylor Swift and The Weeknd. The biggest song of the year globally was "Die with a smile" by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars.
