The Danish pharmaceutical giant Novo Nordisk, world-leading manufacturer of weight loss preparations, is investing 8.5 billion Danish kronor (equivalent to 13 billion kronor) in the construction of a new factory in Denmark.
This concerns a production facility with warehouses on the outskirts of Odense.
The announcement comes after Novo Nordisk received clearance to purchase three factories from the American contract manufacturer Catalent in the USA – a multi-step rocket where Novo Nordisk is investing approximately 130 billion kronor.
