Just over 20 minutes after the 0-3 defeat at home against Chelsea, Ange Postecoglou was dismissed.
"The club will not give any further comments at the moment", Nottingham writes in a brief statement on X.
The 60-year-old took over as new Nottingham coach on September 9 and since then there have been six losses, two draws and no wins.
Previously, the coach has also been in charge of clubs such as Celtic and Tottenham.
Nottingham is parked in 17th place in the Premier League. The team will host Malmö FF at home in the European League on November 27.
