Norway's gold medal in the Nordic combined team competition means the country has won 16 gold medals so far at the Olympics.

Norway has thus matched its record from Beijing 2022 - while still having a number of golden opportunities left.

Even the host country Italy, with nine golds, and France, with six golds, have already won more gold medals than in any previous Winter Games.

For Sweden to do the same, it needs at least two more golds to reach eight, just like in Beijing 2022.

Corrected version. Correct number of Olympic gold medals for Johannes Høsflot Klæbo - five - in the caption.
