That meant advancement to the round of 16 for the Norwegian team as the 23rd and penultimate qualifier - also on goal difference in the tied standings. At the same time, Atlético missed out on direct qualification to the round of 16.
The top eight teams in the regular season qualify directly for the round of 16. The next 16 teams will play a playoff for the remaining places in the round of 16. The draw will take place on Friday.
