The Norwegian state is about to sell all its shares of Norwegian, writes Norwegian media.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry owns 6.37 percent of the shares in the airline, a holding worth approximately 925 million Norwegian kronor, equivalent to approximately 875 million Swedish kronor.
The announcement comes just a month after the state announced that it would convert a loan given to Norwegian into shares and thereby became a part-owner of the company.
The state provided a loan during the pandemic and instead of paying back the entire loan, Norwegian gave the state a shareholding.
