Guro Bergsvand has recently established herself in the Norwegian backline. But now it is clear that the 31-year-old will miss the European Championship. The Brighton centre-back is forced to withdraw due to injury.

Instead, Marthine Østenstad will take her place, and thus make her first championship.

The 24-year-old, who plays for Norwegian Brann, has been part of the Norwegian squad most of the time recently, but for the European Championship she was initially dropped and put on the list as a reserve.

Norway begins the European Championship against the host nation Switzerland on July 2, and meets Sweden in Thursday's European Championship rehearsal in Oslo.
