Norwegian skiing star Harald Østberg Amundsen is ill and misses this afternoon's sprint in Lahtis.
The rest of the weekend is also at risk for the Norwegian – which can play into Edvin Anger's hands.
Anger is overall second in the World Cup behind the superior Johannes Høsflot Klæbo, Norway, ahead of the World Cup finals in Lahtis.
But overall third Østberg Amundsen is hot on Anger's heels and had the chance to overtake.
Østberg Amundsen showed good form when he finished shared second behind Klæbo in the sprint in Tallinn on Wednesday.
Since it's the last World Cup weekend, this comes very inconveniently. We'll have to wait until Saturday and see if he feels better with regard to the 15km on Sunday, says national team coach Arild Monsen to Viaplay.
On Saturday, the team sprint awaits in Lahtis.
