Fred Olsen is leaving the board and will instead focus on supporting the group's business development.
The legendary shipowner has led Bonheur for over 70 years, according to the company.
"Our companies are in good shape - more than ever, it's now about seizing opportunities, and that's what I want to focus on," says Fred Olsen in a comment in the press release.
Business lawyer Gaute Gjelsten, who has been a member of Bonheur's board since the 2025 annual general meeting, will take over as the new chairman.
