Norwegian salmon farmer Leroy Seafood made an operating profit of 680 million Norwegian kronor, approximately as many Swedish, during the second quarter. It was slightly better than the stock analysts' average forecast of 670 million.
Prices have fallen over a year, but increased sales in volume still meant that revenues rose by 15 percent to 8.8 billion Norwegian kronor compared to the same period last year.
The company management maintains the forecast for the full year.
