Support for the Norwegian monarchy is increasing after the developments surrounding the controversial documentary "Rebel Royals" about Princess Märtha Louise and her husband, shaman Durek Verrett.

In the documentary, the couple makes a number of statements against the Norwegian royal house, among other things about the lack of awareness about racism.

73 percent of Norwegians support the monarchy in the survey, compared to 69 percent in the latest measurement in June, shows a survey conducted by Norstat for NRK.

71 percent of the respondents believe that Princess Märtha Louise should lose her title.

1,047 people responded to the measurement made on September 22-25.
