It was during Sunday's match that Bergen player Daling, just before the break, got tired of the home crowd. The 23-year-old star jumped over the advertising signs, walked up to a spectator who was holding a megaphone, and tore it from him.
The situation created a stir in the hall and to the local newspaper BA, Daling explained the reaction.
They came with crap comments throughout the entire match, from start to finish. It doesn't go five seconds without something nasty coming, said Daling, who despite the incident was allowed to continue playing.
Follos chairman Marius Borge, on the other hand, means that the club has talked to several witnesses and that no information about derogatory comments has emerged.
We believe that players have nothing to do up in the stands. Luckily, he didn't use any violence up there, but it was a fairly thoughtless action from his side, says Borge and tells that the incident has been reported to the association.
Nicolai Daling admits to BA afterwards that the reaction may have been too strong.
It was maybe an overreaction, but it had been building up over 30 minutes.
The match ended 29–27 to Bergen.
