First it was Norwegian Bo Hegland who opened the scoring in the 28th minute after a scramble in Halmstad's penalty area. The second goal of the evening came off the volley just before half-time.
2-0 and I've scored two goals, I should be happy with that. We're creating good chances on the wings, Hegland told TV4 at half-time.
But it didn't stop there.
Early in the second half, Norwegian Kristian Lien was awarded a free kick and made it 3-0, which was Lien's eighth goal of the season.
The victory means that Djurgården is now in fourth place, while Halmstad remains bottom.
