A Norwegian company has been hired by Tesla to break the union blockade in Kalmar. Now the union is reporting the company to the police.

It feels really lousy that they bring in strikebreakers from abroad, says David Fernhed at the Electricians' Union to the trade union newspaper Elektrikern.

According to the union, Tesla has had difficulty getting any company to take on the electrical installations at the workshop in Kalmar since the Electricians' Union, in sympathy with the basic conflict, IF Metall's demand for a collective agreement with Tesla, blocked all work at Tesla's facilities.

A police report is being made because the Norwegian company is not registered in Sweden or has a Swedish authorization, and the fitters are also not registered in the Work Environment Authority's posting register, the newspaper writes.
