This concerns 33 rape offenses of various nature, reports NRK. Altogether, it involves 16 victims of crime.
In addition, the former doctor is suspected of having filmed a child under 18 in connection with an examination.
The message comes after Norwegian Adresseavisen earlier on Friday reported on renewed house searches at the former chief physician's home. The police are looking for possible video recordings from the period before 2016, they state in a press release.
The chief physician was sentenced in June to 21 years in prison for 70 rapes and was then deprived of the right to work as a doctor.
The female plaintiffs have previously described uncomfortable, boundary-crossing experiences. Among other things, the doctor is said to have given them "genital massage" and in several cases inserted objects in connection with gynecological examinations.
The verdict from June has been appealed.
