Norwegian Cyclist Dies in Competition – Was 25 Years Old

The Norwegian professional cyclist André Drege died after an accident during the fourth and penultimate stage of Austria Runt.

Drege, who was part of a breakaway group during the stage, fell when he cycled down the alpine road on Mount Grossglockner and died of his injuries.

It is not clear whether Sunday's final stage will be run.

André Drege was 25 years old.
