The Norwegian biathletes are preparing for the Olympics in Lavazè, Italy, where Sivert Guttorm Bakken tragically passed away. They would like to have a special place there to honor their friend.

Sturla Holm Lægreid and Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen are among those who have returned to the place where 27-year-old Bakken was found dead the day before Christmas Eve.

The Norwegian skaters use Lavazè as their training base and now remember their friend.

"We will always think of Sivert, every day we are here. But in a very nice way," Sjåstad Christiansen tells Norwegian TV 2.

Fellow athletes have talked about how passionate Bakken was about going on long trips in the mountains.

"We are talking about getting some kind of plaque up on a mountain here, so that we can visit Sivert more when we are here. To have Sivert with us even more. I would love to go up on that trip when we put it up. I think it means a lot to everyone. That we can secure Sivert up there, at the top of the mountain. That is where he feels most comfortable," says Holm Lægreid.
