The Norwegian army is investing 1.5 billion Norwegian kronor (equivalent to approximately 1.4 billion Swedish kronor) in a new drone program, reports VG.

The program, which concerns drones to be used over land, was presented in connection with a defense conference at Akershus fortress in Oslo on Thursday.

We are reallocating 1.5 billion kronor over the next ten years to accelerate testing, innovation and procurement, says army chief Lars Lervik.
