A long list of flights have already been canceled due to the strike, which started last Friday - including several between Stockholm and Oslo and between Stockholm and Bergen, which were due to take place on Saturday.
On Sunday, Gardermoen will be closed to air traffic between 6:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., writes the Norwegian news agency NTB.
According to the state-owned Swedish airport company Swedavia's website, four departures to Oslo and four arrivals from Oslo have been canceled at Arlanda on Sunday morning.
On Saturday, around 90 flights were cancelled across Norway. The same number will be cancelled on Sunday at seven airports: Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger, Kristiansand, Tromsø and Bodø.
On Sunday, approximately 9,000 passengers will be affected by canceled flights at Norwegian alone, the airline told broadcaster NRK.
Airport company Avinor expects several major delays and canceled flights in the future, after which more air traffic controllers will be called out on strike.
Between Saturday and Sunday, hundreds of stranded passengers will be forced to spend the night inside airport buildings around the country. Avinor, in collaboration with the Red Cross, is distributing sleeping mats, tents and water.
