Norway’s Parliament website partially down as Russian hackers claim responsibility

According to NTB, it is a so-called DDoS attack in which the website is overloaded. The Russian group claims on Telegram that the outage will last for three hours.

Norway has been the target of several cyber attacks in recent years, including against BankID, the Swedish Work Environment Authority and, last year, the Bremanger Dam, which was opened so that the water flowed freely for four hours. The Storting was also the target of a hacker attack in 2020.
