Almost half of the Norwegians surveyed believe that Jesus was resurrected from the dead on Easter Sunday, according to a survey conducted for the newspaper Fædrelandsvennen.

While 26 percent in the measurement in Sørlandet in southern Norway believe that Jesus was physically resurrected, 20 percent believe that he was resurrected in some other way.

But 40 percent of the inhabitants of Sørlandet do not believe in the resurrection at all.

According to the Bible, Jesus rose on Easter Sunday, after having died on the cross on Good Friday.
