"This is the best I know, to beat the Swedes and to win here in Stockholm. It's on the same level as the Olympics," Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen told SVT. He rode on the winning team with Juni Arnekleiv.

Sweden entered three teams: Hanna Öberg with Martin Ponsiluoma, Elvira Öberg with Sebastian Samuelsson, and Anna Magnusson with Jesper Nelin.

The team of Hanna Öberg and Martin Ponsiluoma finished best, in fifth place.

There was also an individual competition. On the women's side, Austria's Tamara Steiner won ahead of Norway's Maren Kirkeeide and Anna Magnusson. The men's race was won by the USA's Campbell Wright ahead of Norway's Johannes Dale and Austria's Simon Eder. Jesper Nelin was the best Swede in fourth place.
