Norway's government is setting a fixed electricity price of 40 öre per kilowatt hour from October 1.
”The Norway price is an important measure to make it possible for people to choose more predictable electricity and district heating costs at home and in the cabin”, says Minister of Energy Terje Aasland (AP) in a press release.
The proposal was presented at the beginning of the year. The level of the Norway price will be adjusted annually from January 1, 2027.
