This is according to calculations from the interest and industry organization Fornybar Norge, the newspaper Klassekampen reports.
Higher electricity prices give the state greater revenue than expenditure, says Bård Vegar Solhjell of Renewable Norway.
The decision on Norway prices was made last year and means that Norwegians can sign an agreement for a fixed electricity price of 50 øre/kWh for the rest of the year.
The Norwegian government has previously estimated that the measure will cost the state around 21.9 billion Norwegian kroner.
