American senator Lindsey Graham became furious and threatened with consequences against Norway after the gigantic oil fund sold its shareholding in Caterpillar.

"This unreasonable decision will not go unnoticed", wrote the Republican Graham on the social media platform X.

The Norwegian oil fund motivated the decision by the fact that Israel uses American Caterpillars' bulldozers to demolish homes in Palestinian areas.

Norway's Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre has been in contact with Lindsey Graham and explained how the oil fund is organized and that it is not politically controlled, writes the Norwegian newspaper Dagens Näringsliv.
