Just like in Sweden, no Norwegian television channel has yet bought the broadcasting rights to the World Ski Championships in Falun. This is causing concern at the Norwegian Ski Association.

"I have never been in a situation where there are six months left until the World Cup and the rights still haven't been sold," event manager Terje Lund tells Dagbladet.

The International Ski Federation is responsible for selling the rights. In May, NTB reported that both NRK and TV2 had bid for the championship.

We continue to ask and wait, but we don't get a definitive answer, says Lund.
