Everything from pumps and robots to piping systems and electrical cabinets will be sold to pay off the company's billion debts.
The subsidiary, which was responsible for the expansion of the battery factory in Skellefteå, was declared bankrupt in October last year. The bankruptcy administrator Jonas Premfors has assigned PS Auction the task of auctioning off the company's equipment, which is completely unused.
It's an enormous volume and we will need to turn to international buyers, he says.
The equipment's purchase value is estimated to be around 3 billion kronor – a sum that Per Henriksson believes may be difficult to recover.
Partly, there are no guarantees, and partly, there are costs associated with dismantling and shipping them.
The auctions, which start now in April, may take up to two years, Per Henriksson believes.
We don't want to rush this process, but rather take the time needed to create good conditions and then get paid as much as possible.
