Six passages will be built on behalf of the Swedish Transport Administration: three road tunnels and three arched bridges, the construction company Svevia writes in a press release.
In addition to otters, the passages are intended to facilitate movement by fish, frogs and smaller aquatic organisms.
Under the arches, Svevia will install water barriers of natural stone to resemble a natural bottom.
