North Korea has again fired cruise missiles as part of a test of its new air defense system, state media reported Thursday local time, according to AFP.
Neighboring South Korea said just hours earlier that it had detected several missiles fired from North Korea into the Sea of Japan.
North Korea has conducted similar weapons tests in recent weeks, including tests involving attack drones and hypersonic missiles.
