North Korea has test-fired a strategic cruise missile, reports the state news agency KCNA. Dictator Kim Jong-Un oversaw Saturday's weapons test.
The armed forces' war deterrent means are being further refined, said Kim, according to KCNA.
According to the news agency, the missiles hit their targets after traveling 1,500 kilometers. The test did not negatively affect the security of neighboring countries, according to North Korea. It is unclear where the test firing took place.
