In total, 9 million artillery shells and other types of ammunition, over 11,000 soldiers last year and an additional 3,000 during the first months of 2025, North Korea has provided to Russia in the past year.

The country has also sent mortar launchers, vehicles, and at least 100 ballistic rockets "which were then fired at Ukraine to destroy civilian infrastructure and terrorize populated areas such as Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia", the report states.

Some of the findings in the report by the Multilateral Sanctions Monitoring Team (MSMT) have been known previously, but not the quantity of weapons that North Korea has contributed with since Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine began in 2022, writes CNN.
