North Korea says it has tested cruise missiles designed to be launched from submarines.
North Korean state media reported that two missiles of this type were tested in waters east of the country. The reports described the weapons as strategic and suggested plans to equip them with nuclear warheads.
South Korea's military has not yet commented on the tests.
