The variant of the cruise missile that North Korea fired over the weekend uses AI technology, the closed country says. In a statement, Kim Yo-jong, sister of the country's leader Kim Jong-un, said the missile "has the ability to change its flight path and uses a form of AI technology."
The missile that landed in the Sea of Japan was fired after tensions recently increased between the two countries, following South Korea's claim that North Korea was behind a series of explosions in the demilitarized zone between the countries.
