North Korea has fired two suspected missiles into the Sea of Japan, according to Japanese authorities.
The South Korean military raised an early alarm about at least one suspicious projectile fired from eastern North Korea.
According to the Japanese Coast Guard and the Ministry of Defense, they were likely two ballistic missiles that landed at sea.
