The data comes a day after South Korea concluded five days of joint military exercises with the United States and Japan.
The South Korean military said that “several short-range ballistic missiles were fired” from the neighboring country and that they travelled about 250 kilometres toward and over the sea. Information about the incident was also reported to have been shared with Japan.
