North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un has fired a high-ranking official who was responsible for economic matters, the state news agency KCNA reports.
Yang Sung-Ho was dismissed “on the spot” during the inauguration of a facility, according to KCNA. The incident took place on Monday; according to Kim, Yang is “unsuitable to be entrusted with heavy duties.”
In a speech, Kim criticized “irresponsible” economic advisors, blaming them for the project’s delay.
