The postponed match between Kristianstad and Norrköping served as the first match in Damallsvenskan after the summer break.

Norrköping was awarded a penalty after just three minutes of play. Wilma Leidhammar was confident from eleven meters and "Peking" took the lead after four minutes.

During the first half, the away team was able to extend their lead on two occasions, through Elsa Burvall and Sabina Ravnell. At halftime, the score was 0–3.

The penalty gives us a sense of calm and a great start to the match, then we continue in a very good way, says Wilma Leidhammar in Viaplay.

Early in the second half, Kristianstad was able to reduce the score to 1–3 after a goal by Guðný Árnadóttir. But no closer did the home team get.

It's a really bad first half from us, we're not in it and let in easy goals from the start, then it's tough. We give it a good try in the second half and score a goal, but there's a lot that's not good at all today, says Kristianstad midfielder Alice Nilsson after the match.

The match ended 1–3, and Norrköping (fifth) are now closing in on Kristianstad (fourth) in the table.
