McLaren took their first title since 1998

The F1 team has been waiting since 1998. In Abu Dhabi, McLaren finally had reason to celebrate: They won the constructors' championship. The team has really done an incredible job and to be able to finish in this way was perfect, says star driver Lando Norris.

It feels incredible, not just for myself but for the entire team, says Norris in the victory interview in Viaplay's broadcast.

Winning after 26 years is really special. This is historic for the team.

McLaren scored 666 points and snatched the title ahead of Ferrari, 652. Red Bull came third with 589 points.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen secured the driver's title in Las Vegas at the end of November, which was the Dutchman's fourth World Championship title in a row.
