Norén withdraws from golf premiere

Swedish golfer Alex Norén, 42, is withdrawing from the season premiere of the PGA tour in Kapalua, Hawaii.

The reason is a neck injury, announces the PGA tour in a post on X.

Even world number one Scottie Scheffler, 28, has withdrawn from the competition, which begins on Thursday, after cutting his hand while cooking Christmas dinner.
