With four birdies on Sunday, Norén finished the weekend's play in third place, which he shared with American Sam Burns. The Swede was in 19th place after the second round but played up significantly.
However, Norén's total of –8 meant a considerable distance to the winner Scottie Scheffler, who won by a landslide at –17.
Ludvig Åberg also finished strongly. With a 67 in the final round, he was among the top players on Sunday. The performance was enough for a shared seventh place overall at -6, two strokes behind Norén.
Norén now receives the equivalent of approximately 11 million kronor in prize money. Åberg takes home approximately 5.5 million kronor, according to Golf Channel.
