Swedish golfer Henrik Norlander started strongly and is in a tie for second place after the first day of the PGA tournament in Ivins, Utah.
The 37-year-old shot a 62-round with nine birdies and as many strokes under par, which corresponds to Norlander's best round ever on the tour.
I've really tried all year to do a better job of taking it one shot at a time, said Norlander afterwards.
At the top is a Canadian with the Swedish-sounding name Adam Svensson. Norlander shares second place, two strokes behind Svensson, with American Matt McCarty.
Not all competitors managed to finish before the round was interrupted due to darkness. It will resume on Friday.
