In a press release, the central bank once again said it is in no hurry to lower interest rates and that inflation in the country remains too high.
“The current geopolitical situation is tense and causes uncertainty, including about the economic outlook,” said Central Bank Governor Ida Wolden Bache in a written comment.
Norges Bank has not changed its key interest rate since it lowered it by 0.25 percentage points in September.
