"Viking - Harald's Blood Revenge" premieres on September 25th in an arena tent at Gärdet in Stockholm. On stage are the duo Nordman, consisting of Håkan Hemlin and Mats Wester. The latter is also behind the music in the new musical, together with Theo Dröse and Gustav Parling.
Robert Dröse directs the musical, which takes place at the end of the 10th century and is about the love story between Harald of Holmgård and Ingrid Björnsdotter.
"The Viking Age is brutal, but also filled with myths, longing and music. This project allows us to go all the way into it - without filter. Acting on stage is among the most challenging things I've ever done," says Håkan Hemlin in a press release.
