"The intrusion of drones into NATO airspace is a direct consequence of Russia's illegal aggression against Ukraine," the ministers wrote in a joint statement.
In recent months, Ukraine has stepped up its drone attacks on Russian targets in the Gulf of Finland. Drones have been observed, shot down, and have sometimes struck nearby NATO countries.
Russia has accused the Baltic countries of collaborating with Ukraine and this week threatened Latvia, accusing it of assisting the attacks.
"Clear disinformation and false claims," the ministers countered, underlining NATO's resolve to defend.
