Major Banks Reduce Variable Mortgage Rates by 0.20 Points

Major banks Nordea, Swedbank and SEB are lowering their variable mortgage rates by 0.20 percentage points.

Major Banks Reduce Variable Mortgage Rates by 0.20 Points

For Nordea, the list price for the 3-month fixed interest rate is thus 3.84 percent. Swedbank's and SEB's list price will be 3.79 percent and 3.84 percent, respectively.

The banks' reductions will be implemented on Thursday, September 25.

The message comes after the Swedish Central Bank on Tuesday lowered the benchmark interest rate by 0.25 percentage points to 1.75 percent.
