The party's press department does not want to say what illness has affected the Left Party leader. On Tuesday, the Left Party's election manifesto was presented by economic policy spokesperson Ida Gabrielsson, rather than Dadgostar.
The party hopes that Dadgostar will be healthy enough to take part in TV4's and SVT's party leader debates on Thursday and Friday.
